Creative Crafters Club

By participating in the TK Creativity Club children will learn and develop various cognitive and academic skills. Math concepts will be explored through patterns, shape and spatial reasoning. They will also explore multiple science concepts that will be explored as they mix colors, experiment with textures and as they observe the cause and effect of the projects they are creating. Often times as they are working on their projects, ideas and plans will not go exactly as they planned allowing them to build upon their problem solving skills. Not only does this allow them to improve their focus and attention but additionally it builds their perseverance, confidence and creativity. Physically they will be building fine motor skills and coordination required for academic pursuits such as writing. Lastly, artistic activities are a wonderful outlet for children to process emotions, explore identity and find their unique voice.
