American Sign Language (Junior) {M}

This fun, hands-on club introduces 2nd and 3rd grade students to the American Sign Language (ASL) alphabet. Through songs, games, stories, crafts, and interactive activities, children will learn how to form each letter using their hands and practice fingerspelling simple words, including their own names. Students will also be introduced to basic Deaf culture and the importance of inclusive communication. The club is designed to build fine motor skills, confidence, memory, and an appreciation for different ways people communicate in a playful and engaging environment.
