Mindful Movement Club teaches breathing techniques and yoga poses designed to help kids be more aware of their breath and body. We'll use practice breathing and visualization strategies that may be used to calm the body down during times of stress. The yoga postures help students become more aware of their bodies in space while working on focus, flexibility, and following directions. Each class is tied to a theme such as gratitude, compassion, presence, etc.
Participants must currently be in grades 2 to 4.
Registration starts on 12/09/2024 and ends on 03/14/2025.
